Das zweiteilige Fachkräfteseminar für kroatische und deutsche Fachkräfte der Jugendarbeit ist ein Trainingsprojekt zur Qualifizierung und Vorbereitung von Fachkräften zur Durchführung von Jugendbegegnungen im ländlichen Raum Europas und zum Aufbau eines gemeinsamen Netzwerks. Ziele dabei sind, längerfristige Projektpartnerschaften aufzubauen, eine gemeinsame Interessengemeinschaft zu gründen und vielfältige Angebote für junge und ältere Menschen auf dem Land zu entwickeln. Ebenso soll durch die Zusammenarbeit „Interkulturalität“ und „Umgang mit Fremden“ in die ländlichen Regionen Einzug halten. Die Teilnehmenden tauschen sich im Laufe der ersten Fortbildungswoche in Karnitz (Mecklenburg- Vorpommern) über ihre jeweiligen Erfahrungen zu Arbeitsbedingungen, Möglichkeiten und Perspektiven, Methoden und Zielgruppen wie auch Zusammenarbeit und Netzwerkaufbau im internationalen Bereich aus. Sie entwickeln neue internationale Projektideen, besichtigen alternative Initiativen und Organisationen auf dem Land und lernen neuere alternative Technologien kennen, die in die zukünftige Arbeit einfließen können. Hinzu kommen viele Aspekte des interkulturellen Lernens, Teambuilding, Rollenverständnisse, Projektmanagement und Fundraising. Dadurch soll das Rüstzeug für zukünftige internationale Projekte für Jugendliche und Fachkräfte vermittelt werden, ein gemeinsames Verständnis zukünftiger Zusammenarbeit bis hin zum Aufbau einer Interessensgemeinschaft, um Menschen im ländlichen Raum neue Perspektiven und Angebote schaffen zu können. Im zweiten Teil der Fortbildung in Kroatien steht die konkrete Projektentwicklung im Vordergrund. Hier sollen die Ideen in konkrete Projekte umgewandelt werden und möglichst schon für 2019 beantragt werden. Hinzu kommt die Besichtigung einiger kroatischen Initiativen und Organisationen, die sich vorwiegend damit befassen, alte Handwerkszweige wie Wollverarbeitung, Webkunst und Kunstschmiedehandwerke neu zu beleben. Die Zusammenführung von alten Traditionshandwerken und neue Technologien sollen bei der Projektentwicklung den Schlüssel für neue Handelszweige eröffnen und Lösungsansätze bieten, um Menschen Alternativen auf dem Land aufzuzeigen und Entwicklungen voranzutreiben, sein Umfeld selbst zu gestalten und neue Lebensmodell auszuprobieren. Gerade auf dem Land werden zukünftig neue Perspektiven und ein neues landwirtschaftliches Verständnis benötigt, um den Menschen auch weiterhin ausreichend und vor allem gesunde Ernährung zur Verfügung stellen zu können und zur Entschleunigung und Anti-Konsumhaltung beizutragen. Da auf dem Land vorwiegend Jugendliche leben, die noch keine Erfahrungen im internationalen Austausch haben und sich auch in ihrem Lebensumfeld selten politisch engagieren, wird im Laufe der Schulung auch eine Einheit zur politischen Bildung im Bereich Motivation, Partizipation und Mitbestimmung junger Menschen in Europa angeboten.

The two-part specialist seminar for Croatian and German youth work professionals was a training project to qualify and prepare professionals to carry out youth encounters in rural Europe and to set up a joint network. The goals here are to establish long-term project partnerships, to set up a common interest group and to develop a wide range of offers for young and old people in rural areas. Likewise, „interculturality“ and „dealing with strangers“ should find its way into the rural regions through cooperation. During the first week of training in Karnitz (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), the participants exchanged experiences about working conditions, opportunities and perspectives, methods and target groups, as well as cooperation and network building in the international arena. They developed new international project ideas, visit alternative initiatives and organizations in rural areas and learned about newer alternative technologies that can be incorporated into future work. In addition, there were many aspects of intercultural learning, team building, understanding roles, project management and fundraising. This was intended to provide young people and professionals with the tools for future international projects, a common understanding of future cooperation and the establishment of a community of interest in order to be able to create new perspectives and offers for people in rural areas. In the second part of the training in Croatia, the focus was on concrete project development. Here the ideas were converted into concrete projects and applications, manageable to achieve in the year of 2019. There were also visits to a number of Croatian initiatives and organizations that were primarily concerned with reviving old crafts such as wool processing, weaving and blacksmithing. The merging of old traditional crafts and new technologies opens up the key for new branches of trade in project development and offers solutions to show people alternatives in the countryside and to promote developments, to shape their environment themselves and to try out new life models. New perspectives and a new understanding of agriculture will be needed in the future, especially in rural areas, in order to be able to continue to provide people with sufficient and, above all, healthy food and to contribute to deceleration and an anti-consumption attitude. Since there are mainly young people living in rural areas who have not yet had any experience of international exchange and who are rarely politically involved in their living environment, a unit on political education in the area of motivation, participation and co-determination of young people in Europe is also offered in the course of the training.
